Very telling that 32 u.k. dog charities denounced Milan prior to his visit to U.K. One of my clients followed his advice and took her terrified dog down a main street to flood her as Milan does and everyone had the worst day of their lives. Remember the message ‘do not attempt this at home’ flashes across your screen at the end of the show – says it all

I have a mix collie and kelpie sheepdog and wanted to get them trained for the basic commands and then i can move on to train them for herding sheep… If you could tell me what the cost would be and at what age I could start training them they are two months old at present. I know the dangers of choke chains as well.I have a dog who pulls and sometimes still does.Everyone advised me to get a choke chain.I did and I put it on him.When he pulled,it tightened up to the point that he was gasping and fell to the ground.I quickly got it off of him and he was ok.When I got home,I threw the thing in the trash,I’d never do that to my baby again.I can’t believe that they sell things like that,same goes for pinch collars.

hi im looking for a dog training course close to limerick ireland, iv tried a few place but they only last a couple weeks, i dont think youd learn much in that space of time. could you help me out finding a place, as i really want to be a dog trainer.

Thanks Lisa. I have just read this article and it has helped me a lot. We have just got a lovely little rescue dog that has never been trained, so I have to start at the beginning. For a long time when I was training Murphy (our current dog) I felt so guilty when I punished him but as you said, I think a balance of both positive reinforcement and negative punishment is best.
