Hi we have a 8 1/2 wk old Lab. He is very hyper like all young labs but its coming to a stage we can t lift him without him nipping us.Tonight he s starting to show his teeth. He would be playing and bitting but now we think hes going a bit out of control. Is there anything that can be done or wil he grow out of it
I have just bought my first puppy. The problem is that he wont stop barking when he wants to do something.
I have been told that to stop him barking is to actively ignore him. In other words – turn my back on him and shun him.
Eventually he will stop because no amount of his fuss will work and realise I am in control. When he quietens down – praise him.
Is this correct way to go about it?
i was wondering do you know where there is a place to learn dog psychology. i have 3 boxers and love dogs and have a great intrest in them and want to learn dog psychology
